Moti Mahal Delux

Moti Mahal is one of the most popular outlets for North Indian and Mughlai cuisine. Now they have started their fine dine restaurants as well and their menu includes Chinese and continental food as well. I visited the South Extension outlet for brunch and the ambiance is spectacular. Service is fast and fabulous.

Masala Lemonade – You will really need this if you want to consume all the delicious kebabs and curries here. Very refreshing!

Palak Patta Chaat – You need to ask them for their Continental menu. This one is absolutely delicious and refreshing. All chaat chutneys/sauces laid one a bed of crispy spinach topped with pomegranate. MUST TRY!!

Afghani Chicken – Though I took only half plate but it had 4 huge pieces of Chicken, well marinated in cream and this came on a sizzler. Chicken was succulent and simply amazing. Best Afghani Chicken I have ever had. MUST TRY!!

Fish Tikka – There were big chunks of fish cooked in tandoor. Fish tasted fresh and yum.

Boneless Butter Chicken – I have not experienced any restaurant serving “Boneless” Butter Chicken. Though I am not a fan of butter chicken but this one was different and was not on the sweeter side.

Punjabi Gosht Masala – Mutton was spiced well and cooked to perfection until juicy and tender. This went well with their huge Naan. I do not remember the name but ask for their big naans which are crispier and are topped with dry fruits.

Gajar Halwa – Just a perfect dish to end this lovely meal.

NokScoot Airline

Featured

NokScoot Airline is a Thailand-based low-cost airline. It operates international services out of Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport. NokScoot’s aircraft are operated in a two-class configuration, ScootBiz and Economy.

I experienced both their business and economy class and I must say both were very comfortable flights. You may also choose economy class with extra legroom seats.

Also they have a vast menu to choose from for your meals and the food served is hot and delicious. Passengers have to pay for meals in economy, either pre-paid or buy-on board.

All ScootBiz seats have in-seat power, while the airfare includes complimentary meals and a checked luggage allowance of 30 kilograms. Staff is friendly and the flight was on time. Looking forward to flying with them again.

Fusion Food in Gurgaon

Went to Saints & Sinners with family for the first time. It is easy to located on the Golf Course Road in Global Foyer Mall. The staff is welcoming and they also have live music band on the weekends.

Chef Pramod Singh offers a variety of fusion food which he has perfected over the years with his international experience. The delicious food served to us showed how much love and passion he has for his work. His focus is to provide an amazing experience to the customers through his food. Tried some chef recommended dishes and some on my own.

Touch Me Not – Mix Fruit Juice with Strawberry crush and colada mix was refreshing.

Fish Vepudu – Tender fish marinated well with a mix of both South Indian and North Indian spices.

Khumb Galouti Crostini – Galouti kebab laid on crostini with diced mushrooms. It had a smoky flavour and melted in mouth.

Kung Pao Chicken Skewers – I love everything which has thigh chicken in it. Thigh chicken cooked in tandoor with Chinese sauces topped with cashew nuts. MUST TRY!!

Fish & Chips – Well crusted fried fish served with potato wedges and mash peas. Peas also had bits of ham in it.

Grilled Seafood and Burnt Lemon – Lemon is something which I avoid in my food, not really a fan of it. But this was recommended by the Chef and when I tried, it blew my mind. Fish had smoky flavour and lemon added a perfect touch. MUST TRY!!

IMG-4546

Betsy’s Chocolate Jar – An ultimate Chocolate overdose! Jar filled with liquid dark chocolate with a hint of run and loads of chocolate brownie.

The quality, taste and quantity is everything top notch. Love the fact that the Chef takes into consideration of customer’s preferences towards food and their liking.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED place!!

Thailand Tourism Festival

Thailand Tourism Festival 2019

It was amazing to be a part of the opening ceremony of Thailand Tourism Festival (TTF) held at Lumphini Park in Bangkok from 23th – 27th January, 2019. It was attended by many Thai and foreign visitors. Admission to Thailand Tourism Festival 2019 is free. If you are coming by MTR, then MRT Lumphini Station is the closest.

The highlight of the festivals were great speeches by Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and Mr. Weerasak Kowsurat, Minister of Tourism and Sports.

There will be processions/parade, musical performances, delightful cuisine from all over Thailand to try. The festival starts from 12:00 – 22:00hrs, five tourism villages will display the unique and different ways of life of Thai people across the region and there will be booths where visitors can find information about Chiang Mai, Sukhothai, Surat Thani, Samut Prakan, Pathum Thani, Chachoengsao, and Udon Thani.

DSC_0079

Central Region Zone – presents the heritage of old Siam through a traditional Thai house and the former rural way of life back in the days through demonstrations; such as, traditional garland making.

DSC_0071

Northern Zone – showcases the beautiful handwoven cotton and silk textiles the region is famous for, presenting the intricate patterns. The zone reflects the artistic nature of the people of the North plus a range of contemporary arts inspired by the region.

Southern Zone – presenting new perspectives of the South that boldly goes beyond the beaches and islands including the secondary cities; such as, Surat Thani and Phatthalung, the hidden gems in major cities like Phuket’s Peranakan and arts in the three southernmost provinces.

DSC_0125

Northeastern (Isan) Zone – brings Thailand’s more vibrant cuisine to life. Food is one major inspiration for travelling to this region, linking it with traditional festivals and cultural values while promoting its three main tourism clusters: North Isan, Central Isan and South Isan.

Eastern Zone – presenting new perspectives of the East under a ‘more fun’ concept through replicas of landmarks most synonymous with the region in combination with three dedicated corners for 3D photography backdrops reflecting the region’s identity.

Perhaps most importantly, there is also a ‘Reduce-Reuse-Recycle’ waste initiative zone to help raise awareness and promote responsible sustainable tourism through various activities, games and more.
