If you want to genuinely lose fat, you must make some lifestyle changes as well as a total commitment. You may ask what if you are too busy? Healthy eating habits are essential for leading a disease free life. However, this is something that people with busy professionals and lives can achieve. A busy social life and juggling a career is not easy and just getting some time to eat healthy can be difficult. More often, you eat whatever foods come into your hand, something easy and quick hack you could just pop in the microwave or oven or get a takeaway. Even if you out to a restaurant for lunch or dinner, you might as well eat smart, like ordering for fresh fruit juice instead of chocolate shake.

So how could busy professionals eat healthy meals and still carry on their daily activities? Well, healthy eating is essential to lead a healthy life. The secret is planning! Plan your diet and eat healthy foods, this will really help you even if you have a busy lifestyle.

Schedule a block of time – Each week, (the day may change each week) take inventory of what you currently have, create a meal plan or have Inspiring Health prepare one for you. Make your shopping list and go shopping. When you return from the store, clean, cut and prepare single servings of fruit or veggies. Make one or two items in the oven and place in separate containers to freeze and / or put in the refrigerator. This may seem like a lot, but it can be done in about 3-4 hours at a time. This will save you lots of time during the week, where you will be just heating up your food and not having to prepare everything during the week.

Eat Real Foods- Even if you are busy, try to plan your meal timings accordingly and eat fresh fruits, vegetables and eat easy to cook food. This will surely help you to offer a good diet and make you feel energetic whole day.

Protein shakes- keep fresh fruit juice, protein shakes handy, and this will truly help you with your diet. This will give you nutritional value and health benefits.

Change your habits- by eating healthy foods, you can change your taste for foods. Avoid craving for junk foods, instead of it change your eating habits, and eat healthy meals. The more you healthy, the more your body tells you that it wants healthy foods. Instead of that sugary milk tea, have green tea instead.

Non-veg Dosa

I have tried non-veg dosas in many places abroad but this was the first time I tried it with Navarasam.

Bhuna Chicken Dosa – Chicken cooked with spices and added while making dosa. This was good and was served with two chutneys i.e. coconut and spicy tomato.

Chicken Tikka Dosa – Delicious chicken tikka added and stuffed in dosa. Chicken was succulent and tasted well with their coconut cum peanut chutney.

Pineapple Sheera – Semoline dessert/halwa with loads of cashews and raisins. This was super delicious and just melted in mouth. MUST TRY!!

Top 3 dishes during Ramzan

Biryani by Kilo is one of my favourite outlets for ordering kebabs and biryanis.
Delivery was on time and food was packed properly.

Haleem – Mutton is slow cooked with pounded wheat along with the perfection of traditional spices. Texture of curry was thick as expected and went well with roomali roti.

Chicken Biryani – Had chicken biryani which was aromatic and tasted fresh and yum.

BBK

Mutton Pepper Fry – Mutton was succulent and melted in mouth. It was spiced well and cooked to perfection. This went well with Ulte tawa ka paratha. This is a must with all my BBK orders. MUST TRY!!

Phirni – BBK serves best phirni!! Consistency is thick and topped with nuts.

New Asian Restaurant in Town

The Asian Tuk Tuk located in Eros Corporate Tower, Nehru Place serves authentic and delectable Chinese cuisine.

Started with some mocktails: Indane and Bunta Masala, they go literally by the name and the Indane drink was served in a miniature indane cylinder. Both drinks were refreshing.

Avocado Carpaccio – Thin sliced avocado topped with ponzu caviar and jalapeno, dashed in yuzu soya. This was super delicious and left me craving for more. MUST MUST TRY!!

Pla Samrot Gung: Spicy, Sweet and Sour Thai Prawns. This one was crispy and bursting with flavours. If you love prawns, this dish is for you!

Assorted Dimsum Basket: The basket contains 8 pieces, 2 pieces each of Prawn Har Gao, Spicy Chicken Coriander, Charcoal Lamb and Nepalese Kothey. Spicy Chicken Coriander and Prawn Har Gao are yum.

Pink Sake Sushi – Cream Cheese and Atlantic Salmon dashed with apple and gherkin tarter. The presentation is awesome.

Duo Jiao Yu – Hunan salted steamed fish with soy sauce and loads of red chillli but this is not so spicy and the fish melts in your mouth. Also you could eat the dish on its own or have it with steam rice. MUST TRY!

Tuk Tuk Krob – One of the most amazing desserts I have ever had. This was the deconstructed version with red ruby chestnuts, crackling sugar, mango duet, whipped cream and mother dairy mango milk ice candy. This was an absolute delight! MUST TRY!!
