Listing some delicious summer drinks to quench your thirst.
Since lockdown, I have been craving for street food therefore I ordered some delectable food from Pind Patiala from their Vasant Kunj store. The packing was done really well.
Gol Gappe – I mean how can anyone miss gol gappe from the street food list! All items were packed separately and neatly. The spicy-sour water was packed in a bottle and tasted perfect! Sweet tamarind chutney was packed in a small container.
Samosa Chaat – This was served with white peas, mint and tamarind chutney. I’m not a fan of Samosa but these were not at all oily and tasted so fresh and crisp! MUST TRY!!

Anda Burji & Paratha – No one can go wrong with this. A fulfilling meal!
Shahi Murgh Pind Patiala – Chicken pieces marinated well with cream just melted in the mouth. They used chicken on bone for this. MUST TRY!!
Punjabi Murgh Curry – Loved the thick gravy with huge pieces of chicken. This really went well with their Naan.

Kheer – Rice pudding topped with nuts; perfect way to end any meal! Loved it!
Their food quality and quantity is highly commendable! Will surely try more dishes.

Uploaded a Quick Recipe on YouTube! Relish Home-made White Sauce Creamy Cheesy Pasta at home with this quick recipe. I have used durum wheat semolina pasta which is very healthy. It’s very easy to make! Do comment below how you like your pasta or if you like adding any other veggie in your pasta.

INGREDIENTS: BOILING: 2 cups Pasta (200 gms), Salt to taste, 1/2 tsp Olive oil
VEGETABLES: 1/2 tsp Olive oil, 1/2 onion chopped, 3 small button mushrooms, 2 broccoli
SAUCE: 2 tsp butter, 3 tsp all purpose flour (maida), 3-4 cups milk, Salt 1/2 tsp, black pepper powder, 1/2 tsp red chilli flakes, oregano, grate cheese if required to make it cheesy.

Celebrations are incomplete if we live only for ourselves. Let’s be thankful to the Lord for whatever we have because sometimes we do not realise that many people don’t even have the basics and are unable to live on their own and have to rely on someone else even to feed themselves. Saw some disabled and underprivileged orphan children who are facing life in the toughest way! Let’s light up someone else’s life and believe in giving a part of the blessings we receive! Sharing is Caring! ♥️

For some people this might sound like a lecture but until we share a part of our blessings with others who are suffering and bring happiness to their lives even by small acts our lives will remain incomplete. So let’s aim in doing good deeds and thank God for all the blessing we have received. Also let us Pray for the World 🙏 since many countries are facing social calamities, virus outbreak, etc. ♥️

Irfan Bhai serves some brilliant North Indian and Mughlai food at value prices. Delivery was on time and packing gave a luxurious feel.

Murgh Malai – Chicken pieces marinated well with cream just melted in mouth. They used chicken breast fillets for these kebabs.
Murgh Nawabi – Luscious rustic flavours and chicken is succulent made with freshly ground homespun spices.
Murgh Jahangiri – This dish is named after Mughal Emperor, Jahangir. A fenugreek flavoured thick gravy slow-cooked with chicken with their signature aromatic spices. This goes well with their Roomali Roti. MUST TRY!!
Tarfan – Leavened flour bread, almost similar to a puff pastry but cooked in tandoor. This can be eaten on its own and is yum!
Shahide Jaam – Gulab Jamun filled with pistachio and almond were super soft and just melted in mouth. Perfect end to an amazing meal.
Their food quality and quantity is highly commendable! Will surely try more dishes from here.

Biryani by Kilo is one of my favourite outlets for ordering kebabs and biryanis. Ordered some dishes for dinner and delivery was on time. Food was packed and labelled properly.

Chicken Ghee Roast – Chicken was succulent and melted in mouth. It was roasted and cooked to perfection. This went well with Ulte tawa ka paratha. MUST TRY!!
Lucknowi Chicken Biryani – This is their best biryani. It was aromatic, tasted fresh and yum.

Gulab Jamun with Rabri – Gulab Jamun was not too sweet, just the way I like. Rabri went really well with it. It was garnished with Pistachios.

Since I was craving for some North Indian food, I visited Khaaja restaurant located on MG Road, Gurgaon. Décor is amazing and it had open auto rickshaw as well. Staff is friendly and the service is really commendable.
Blushing Pina Colada – A mix of Pineapple, Banana and Vanilla ice-cream. This was very refreshing and is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Non-Veg Kebab Platter – It consisted of Kalmi kebab, Mutton Seekh, Kastoori kebab and Tandoori Banno kebab with salad on the side. These kebabs were super succulent and prepared fresh. MUST TRY!!
Lal Maas – Mutton was cooked to perfection with spices and meat was falling off the bone. Had this with Garlic Butter Naan.
Beetroot Halwa with ice-cream – This is something unique and halwa was smoking hot. Simply loved it!

Gol Matol Shahi Tukda – Shahi Tukda was crispy with thick custard topped with pistachios.
Their food quality and quantity is highly commendable! Everything is made fresh and smoking hot. Will surely try more dishes.

Bonheur in Shahpur Jat, New Delhi is a modern European Café serving some delightful delicacies. Chef is very knowledgeable and recommended us amazing dishes. Décor is worth a mention! Interior is decorated with different types of plants.
Burrata – Cheese, caramelized walnuts, rocket leaves and orange. Looked WOW and tasted even better. It was presented with edible flowers. MUST TRY!!

Forest Caesar – Romaine lettuce, lollo rosso, micro greens and parmesan. Also I chose to have this salad with Bacon! It was fresh and yum.
Fumeé Chicken Tartine – Smoked Chicken sautéed with citrus mayonnaise, black olives, cherry tomatoes, lettuce, pickled cucumber and radish micro-greens. Chicken was bursting with flavours and bread was fresh with a hint of garlic.
Linguini Carbonara – Pasta with smoked bacon, parsley and parmesan with a hint of lemon.
Housemade Tortellini Pasta – Tortellini is homemade. It is stuffed with sun-dried tomatoes and ricotta. I chose to have this with tomato based sauce and it was lip-smacking. MUST TRY!!

Dessert Platter – Vegan Cheesecake with Strawberry Champagne Jam, Orange & Rosemary Fudge Tart and Chocolate Brownie. The platter was garnished with edible flowers. I must say, each and every dessert was absolutely scrumptious.

I have been at Honk, Pullman Hotel, New Delhi few times now. They have recently launched their Yum Cha Daily Lunches wherein you can feast over 22 different kinds of steamed, pan-fried and baked dimsums along with soups, salads and a meal in a bowl. Chicken & Chive pan-fried dimsum and Eggplant Puff with sweet chili and garlic are highly recommended. Apart this delish feast, they also serve premium Asian teas and beverages like shochu, sake and umeshu. The best way to conclude the meal is with their special homemade gelatos.

Also been to Honk for dinner and everything was absolutely delicious. Started with Larb Gai salad which was bursting with flavours. Also Tuna Pizza was tasty.
Tried their dimsums and sushi as well. Red Dragon Sushi, Fire ball Sushi and Kaibashira Sushi were yum. Also tried Lobster dumplings with black truffle caviar dumpling, Black pepper chicken dumpling and the best one was Laksa Crab and Prawn dumpling – MUST TRY!! Honk is, no doubt, the best place I have had the best sushi in New Delhi.
For mail course had ‘Honk’s own’ spicy Prawns, Lamb black pepper, Garlic and Chives Fried rice and Vegetable Hakka Noodles.

All the desserts we tried were made to perfection:
Wasabi Cheesecake – This was so unusual yet awesome.
Fried cinnamon banana with white sesame jaggery fudge – Simply loved this one.
Trio ice-cream (Coconut & Kaffir Lime, Honey, Avocado) – Avocado ice-cream was the best!!

A star-studded event took place in New Delhi. VETA (Versatile Excellence Travel Awards) at The Imperial, New Delhi in collaboration with Taiwan Tourism were held to honor the best in travel and tourism.
While addressing the event, Dr. Trust, Director, Taiwan Tourism Bureau said “This is our second time collaborating with VETA – the first was in Dubai, and now in Delhi and we hope that through such collaborations, we can create an interest in Taiwan resulting in 20% growth in tourism from India. We have 260 mountains that are higher than 3,000 metres, so it’s a mountain climbing paradise – fresh air and beautiful mountain resorts await the Indian visitor.”

Event was attended by top Bollywood celebrity stars like Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi and Sophie Choudry. Comedian Sunil Grover marked his presence in different appearances. Ambassador Tien Chung Kwang, Taipei Economic and Cultural Centre also graced the event. Priyanka Nijhawan of the Nijhawan Group and diplomats from the Embassy of Czech Republic were also present.

Awards commenced by introducing VETA, TravelScapes and Taiwan by former MTV VJ and Bollywood actor Sophie Choudry through a short film on Taiwan highlighting the natural mountainous terrain. Woman entrepreneur of the year went to Ms. Priyanka Nijhawan from the Nijhawan Group and Ms. Jyoti Mayal of the Travel Agent Association of India.

Comedian star and actor Sunil Grover also known as Rinku Devi and Dr.Mashoor Gulati, kept the audience cracking with laughter. Welcome Heritage Hotels won the award for the heritage hospitality and Jalesh Cruises won the award for India’s fastest growing cruise line. The award for best business hotel chain was given to Fortune Hotels and many others were awarded in different categories.
Food truck serving extravagant delicacies like dimsums and egg rolls on the lawns of the hotel along with wine and whisky. Mr. Varun Malhotra, CEO and Publisher of TravelScapes and organizer of the evening was seen interacting with Dr.Lin Trust, Director, Taiwan Tourism Bureau, and Taiwan’s Representative to India, Mr. Tien Chung Kwang, from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Centre.
