Stayed at Crowne Plaza which is located at the heart of corporate and industrial hub in Greater Noida. It is a Business Hotel and it takes about 90 minutes from Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) and within 10 mins from India Expo Mart. It is in close proximity to corporate giants like Samsung, Vivo, LG, Yamaha, Honda and Wipro. It will take you to reach Agra in under 2 hours via Yamuna Expressway. This giant property is spread across 8 acres which features 398 spacious rooms, 5 dining outlets, 51000 sq ft banqueting space, fitness centre, spa, salon and a pool.

Crowne Plaza Greater Noida is a paradise for foodies. You must try scrumptious Italian and Chinese cuisine at Chao Bella and Global cuisine, including authentic Korean cuisine, at Mosaic. They also have a Mosaic Pastry Lounge which is perfect casual dining for coffee, hot chocolate, cake and takeaways.

Stayed at their Studio Apartment which features modern comforts, WIFI, bathroom with bathtub, washing machine, separate living room, kitchenette with fridge, induction, microwave, and dishwasher. Also you can enjoy exclusive access to Club lounge with cocktail high tea.

Also stayed in their Executive Suite which also has a separate living area and bedroom that closes off for privacy. It has all modern comforts with a four fixture bathroom with bathtub, separate dressing and luggage area. It also includes access to the Club Lounge featuring complimentary breakfast and evening cocktails. The suite is spacious and well-equipped with amenities like LCD TV, high-speed Wi-Fi and 24-hour room service.

The hotel staff is polite and at your service always. Seafood is highly recommended at this property. Prawns Ceviche, Appam with Chicken Stew, Mysore Masala Dosa and Chilli Prawns cannot be missed!! If you are health conscious, they have wide range of fresh juices including carrot, beetroot juice and not to forgot kadha. Their dinner buffet is no less and is sumptuous. They have dining space outside at their courtyard called Alfresco.

The outdoor pool was closed adhering to Covid-19 precautionary measures. Continuous sanitization and safety measures were taken.

Apart from the superb stay love how they have so many dining options to choose from:

2. Glasshouse – All-day dining world-cuisine restaurant with a choice of a la carte menu or an extensive buffet.

3. Vibe: The Sky Bar – Roof-top bar with an amazing view & offers a wide selection of beverages and finger food.

4. Cafe O’ Lait – Pâtisserie to have sweet & savoury delicacies along with Hot Chocolate.

5. In-Room Dining – Obviously there’s nothing better than enjoying Chef’s special menu on couch/bed in HGI’s Luxury Suite Room.

North Indian Food from Masala Story by Punjabi By Nature

Since I was craving for some North Indian food, I ordered some delectable dishes from The Masala Story by Punjabi By Nature. Delivery was on time and items were packed and sealed properly in boxes. All the items were labeled.

Had their Non-Vegetarian Celebration Combo. For starters, I had Chicken Kastoori Kebab and Paneer Tikka. For the main course, Paneer Makhani, Chef’s Special Mutton Curry, Yellow Dal Tadka and Murgh Hyderabadi Biryani. Had the main course with Garlic Naan, Butter Naan and Pudina Prantha. Ended this fabulous meal on a sweet note with Gur Ki Kheer, Phirni and Shahi Tukda.

Absolutely loved the whole combo especially Chicken Kastoori Kebab which was succulent, Chef’s Special Mutton Curry was thick and luscious curry and Gur Ki Kheer just melted in mouth. These are a must try!!

Quality of food is commendable and quantity was great as well. Highly recommend Masala Story’s Celebration boxes, these are perfect for this festive season. This combo is sufficient for 3-4 people.

Tried Non-veg Barbeque in a Box from UBQ by Barbeque Nation. All the items were packed and sealed properly in a box.

BIB contains a lot of items. It has about 6 starters i.e. BBQ Prawns, Chicken Tikka, Grilled Pineapple, Fish, Cajun Potato, Chicken wings. For main course it had 3 curries: Chicken and Mutton Curry and Dal Makhani plus Chicken Biryani, Salad, Chutneys, Raita, 2 Naan. Course ended with sugar rush of 3 Desserts: Gulab Jamun, Chocolate Brownie and Moong Dal Halwa.

The variety of items blew my mind and everything was flavourful. Quantity was great as well. Highly recommend their Barbeque in a Box (BIB) boxes.

UBQ by Barbeque Nation serves real quality food and people who want to stay at home and still enjoy buffet experience, this is perfect!

Hyderabadi Biryani delivered at home

Biryani by Kilo is one of my favourite outlets for ordering kebabs and biryanis. Ordered some dishes for lunch and delivery was on time. Food was packed and labelled properly.

Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani – It had 4 huge pieces of chicken. Biryani was aromatic and tasted fresh and yum.

Chicken Korma – Chicken marinated in yogurt, cashew paste and fresh ground spices made into a rich Mughlai curry. Texture of curry was thick as expected and went well with their Ulte tawa ka paratha.

Will soon order their kebabs as well 🙂

Mom’s Birthday at Ramada Central Gurgaon

Stayed at Ramada Central, Gurgaon for my Mom’s Birthday celebration. This hotel is minutes away from National Highway 8, route to Jaipur as well as MGF Metropolitan Mall, Kingdom of Dreams, Leisure Valley, and Galaxy Mall with proximity to Cyber Park, DLF Phase 1 and corporate hubs like Udyog Vihar and DLF Cyber City.

We stayed in their Club Room and enjoyed our #Staycation thoroughly. This cozy room had a work area and a sitting area. It is well-equipped with amenities like LCD TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning and 24-hour room service. The hotel staff is courteous and room service is flawless. They have a vast food menu which offers everything from Continental, Chinese, Italian to Indian including varieties of kebabs. Their restaurant is known as Café Rouge. Though food can also be serve in Bar and Lounge as well. Thanks to the Restaurant Manager, Mr. Vishal Katoch who took care of our culinary needs. Their Tandoori Jheenga (Prawns), Lucknowi Mutton Curry and Spicy Chicken Tikka Pizza cannot be missed!! They have also scrumptious sizzlers fest going on currently. Food is of top quality and will surely satisfy your taste buds.

They have gymnasium, outdoor pool and wellness spa. Spa and pool were closed adhering to Covid-19 precautionary measures. Continuous sanitization and safety measures were taken. They also have conference rooms and banquet halls with a lot of space.

Even though it is a four-star hotel, room rates are very realistic and light on the pocket. I would recommend to book through their website directly as they have good discounts available on their portal.

Special thanks to Mr. Sumit Ghosh who took care of everything throughout our stay leaving us with a memorable experience. Also the complementary cake for my Mom’s Birthday was absolutely delicious 🙂

Celebrated my Birthday at Courtyard by Marriott Downtown located in Gurgaon. This fabulous hotel is located centrally. This hotel offers easy access to Kingdom of Dreams, DLF Cyber City, MG Road, IFFCO Chowk, Udyog Vihar and Epicentre Gurgaon. Hotel is connected to the International/Domestic airports and local Metro Station.Celebrated my Birthday at Courtyard by Marriott Downtown located in Gurgaon. This fabulous hotel is located centrally. This hotel offers easy access to Kingdom of Dreams, DLF Cyber City, MG Road, IFFCO Chowk, Udyog Vihar and Epicentre Gurgaon. Hotel is connected to the International/Domestic airports and local Metro Station.

I stayed in their Executive Guest Room / Club King room and enjoyed their 30 hours #Staycation offer which includes:

  • Breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children under 12
  • Dinner per night
  • Kids meals (12 and under)
  • Wireless Internet
  • Master Chef Classes tickets
  • 1 Complimentary Round of Mocktails tickets for 2
  • Upgrade upon availability at check in to Next Room Type

The room was spacious, classy and had a plush featherbed, work area and a sofa. It is well-equipped with amenities like LCD TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, marble bathroom and 24-hour room service. The hotel staff is polite and room service is flawless. I treated myself with delicious international cuisine at their cozy restaurant called Downtown Kitchen and Bar. Their Chilli Chicken and Lal Maas cannot be missed!! Their dinner buffet is no less and is sumptuous. Also not to forget the wide range of desserts and cakes. These are a must try. They have dining space outside in the garden as well called the Courtyard Grill.

The gymnasium, outdoor pool and wellness spa were closed adhering to Covid-19 precautionary measures. Continuous sanitization and safety measures were taken. The stay was extremely safe.

Even though it is a four-star hotel, room rates are very reasonable and light on the pocket. Also would recommend to make use of their Staycation package.
